How I describe myself in Three Words: Passionate, Energetic, Driven

How I express my Three Words through my style: I grew up a tomboy but always loved watching my mom get ready. She has always had great style and always looks ready to take on anything. When I left college and entered the working world, I started to find my style. I used fashion to help define my personality. For close to 20 years, I was a banker so other than weekends and vacations, my style was a little more subdued but now as an entrepreneur I love experimenting with new brands, especially women-founded/owned. I’m a self-processed shopaholic so my passion extends far beyond work!

I embrace the fact that I have a signature style (a few I guess) with floral dresses and a leather jacket to my Metallica or Guns’N’Roses t-shirts, a blazer and jeans. Dressing for the day, like my mom, makes me feel good and gives me energy. And, one thing I never forget is heels. To me they amplify my drive!

Words of advice on how to develop the confidence to be who you are: For me, confidence has been about using those three words that describe me and owning my story, my actions and my voice. Taking risks in my career has been a theme, and it’s the same with my fashion. Try not to care about the opinions around you and focus on being authentic and real.  Get comfortable with being uncomfortable!

My advice: Take risks, get out of your comfort zone and own your voice [fashion].
