How I describe myself in Three Words: Exuberant, dramatic, original

How I express my Three Words through my style: For me, getting dressed is an act of creativity.  Style is all about personal expression.  It is fun for me to see an item of clothing and think about how I would play with it. Accessories are really the key.  Building an outfit around accessories is something I enjoy. As a New Yorker, I do have my share of the requisite black in my wardrobe, but I am happiest when I am wearing strong colors.  I have never wanted to copy anyone else’s style! I do love clothing and accessories made by artists and individual designers. Besides the uniqueness of the pieces, I love knowing who made my clothes and jewelry and think of them when I wear their work.

Words of advice on how to develop the confidence to be who you are: The most important advice I would give is to have fun getting dressed. I would urge women to get out of their comfort zones and try something new.  Start small—try a bolder necklace.  Experiment with color. Enjoy the process.  Even if you are not an artist, you can express your creativity by just getting dressed.
