I recently got married and although there were many things on my mind leading up to the day (as you might imagine), one of the most prevalent thoughts was how am I going to stay comfortable all day in heels?? Heels and I broke up during the height of the pandemic and although I do wear them occasionally, they appear on my feet far less often than they used to.

So the hunt began for a good solution that would give me some height to look flattering in my wedding dress, while also looking for something that could be comfortable for dancing later. My options:

-Platforms

-Kitten heels

-A comfortable regular heel (these are hard to find but I do know of some!)

-Two pairs of shoes—one for the wedding ceremony and another for the reception after my feet tired from dancing

And so my search began. As I was researching my options, I came across a brand called Pashion Footwear. They create heels that can be converted to flats. Wait, was this for real?! This had long been a fantasy of mine so I had to find out more. I went to their website and saw several options for my big day in their Bridal section. I ordered the pair below and here’s what they looked like (both heel and flat version):

Converting them from block heels (they also sell stiletto heels) to flats took a little getting used to but the instructions in the box were clear, so once I had the hang of it, it was easy. Now, you might be wondering how everything turned out. Did the shoes stay comfortable all day? YES! I was comfortable through the ceremony and half of the reception (where I danced!) until my feet started crying for a break, and then I converted my heels to flats. Success!

So if you’re looking for your perfect pair of wedding shoes, or just a comfy pair of shoes in general (they also make boots and many other styles!), check them out. The only thing is they’re not the cheapest (they’re basically two pairs of shoes after all), so here’s a promo code for 25% off to get you started on the Pashion’s website: WGLEWISEDMOND. Enjoy!!

Note: We may receive a portion of the sales if you purchase a product using a link in this blog post.
